We have had a good break since the major LAN so lets get into it again.

I am still not sure if I can attend, this has been the major delay in announcing, with work going on in the store. But I am hoping to make it and have some fun.

The more the merrier guys and I would love a good turnout so we can have a blast racing and running.

DATE: 29th May

WHERE: Pre Rust Albany

TIME TO ARRIVE: 12:00pm - 1:00pm for a HOPEFULLY 2:00pm kick off first race.

COST: $10 per person

PAYMENT DUE: We will make this on the day so come prepared.

MODS AND TRACKS:

V8's at Oran Park LiDar

• 10 Lap first race sprint
• 45 Lap second race (got to confirm as I cant remember what I planned here)

FBMW at Oran Park Lidar (Semi Fixed Setup)

• 10 Lap first race sprint
• 10 Lap Second Race Reverse Grid
• 15 Lap Final Race with results from above

TPSCC 3.0 at Daytona

• Big Race. Hoping for 2 stops....we will play this by ear on the night :) Might try a small 10 lapper to get everyones eye in.

There will be a random track surprise on the night.

We will put the tracks up BUT all will be available on the night. We cant release the V8's so get them on the night.

FBMW is available everywhere. I will be trying to get the tracks up soon but go to www.simraceway.com to get them. Final changes can be made on the night if needed.

The great event that was the Major LAN 2009 is back again and bigger and better than last year.

So lets go through the details.

DATE: 27th February - 1st of March

WHERE: Rotary Youth Camp past Little Grove Golf Club

TIME TO ARRIVE: Saturday 27th of February 10:00am

TIME TO BUGGER ORF: Monday 1st of March by 12:00pm and after cleaning up :)

COST: $35 per person per night and $70 per person for the weekend.

PAYMENT DUE: We will make this on the day so come prepared.

WHAT DOES THIS GET YOU:

• A bed for each night.
• Organised races including a teams endurance, solo endurance and the first round of races for the new season.
• Breakfast on Saturday and Monday (includes eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and toast)
• Tea on Saturday and Sunday (includes sausages, steaks, buns and in less quantites than last year some salad).
• Attendance to a wine and cheese night on Sunday (well actually it is more of a piss up but we pretend to be posh, Gus has to bring his OWN wine this time though).
• A simsync server ready to help you get the mods and tracks you will need.

WHAT DOES THE VENUE PROVIDE:

• Beds with mattresses. I am pretty sure pillows but can someone verify this from last year?
• All cuttlery and cleaning items.
• Toilets and showers.
• Fridges. 1 for food, 1 for beverages :)

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE

• Sleeping material ie Sleeping Bags and/or rugs.
• Toiletries (otherwise we might have to hold a "spray the smelly bugger with deodorant event).
• Alcohol
• Try to bring a bottle of wine or port or muscat for Sunday night.
• Try to bring a cheese or nibblies for Sunday night.
• Your PC and Steering Wheel WITH rFACTOR READY TO DO AND AS MANY MODS AS I GET UPLOADED!!!!

So the big question. What will we be racing.

Well we dont have a FIXED schedule...but I reckon you can count on the following :)

• Bathurst teams endurance. This one might be longer than past Bathurst Enduros to allow to stints per player :)
• SPA NAGT solo endurance...OH THE PAIN!!!
• Some fun runs in different mods including Minis, CART and possibly a "tag team" event :)
• First round of the new championship which will consist of
  • V8 Supercars. The track will be an oldie but a goodie. Most likey Pukokoe or Wannerro. Why? Well we are still deciding on the V8 mod to use. We are hoping to have a BLOODY big surprise there :). This will consist of most likey 3 sprint races on the night.
  • Formulae BMW. These will be semi fixed setup so practice is not necassary. This will consist of 3-4 15 minute races with qualifying determined from previous races. Be prepared for a reverse grid :o
  • TPSCC V3. Purely fixed setups at most likely Superspeedways. All testing of this mod prove it is AWESOME!!!!

A schedule for these has not been determined but we are encourage people to attend BOTH NIGHTS.

This is more of a social night so keep that in mind.

This season is shaping up to be more of FUN year with practice really only needed for the V8's and if we get what we want with the Mod.

So please the Major LAN is always been a load of fun and we encourage you to get as many of your mates there for it as possible.

I WILL need numbers so please sign up in the appropriate thread on the forums so we have an idea of numbers.
